Community Renewable Solutions, LLC, consists of Tam Hunt and various associates. Hunt is an attorney (Bar No. 218673) with experience in California regulatory law and policy since 2005, specializing in renewable energy and electric vehicle policy, as well as project development of solar, wind energy and energy storage projects.

His regulatory work takes him to the California Public Utilities Commission, the California Energy Commission, the California Air Resources Board, and occasionally to Sacramento to watch sausage-making in action. Hunt's project development work is generally focused on California and Hawaii. 

He was a lecturer in climate change law and policy and renewable energy law and policy at UC Santa Barbara from 2007 to 2014.

Hunt received his J.D. from UCLA School of Law (2001) and B.S in Biology from UC San Diego.
